Czech Donors Forum operation on international level

CDF is part of the global network of associations that unites foundations, firms and other donors - The Worldwide Initiative for Grantmaker Support (WINGS) has a consolidated secretariat in Brussels. The Chief Executive of the Donors Forum, Pavlina Kalousova, is a member of the WINGS Executive Counsel.

CDF is also actively involved in cooperation within Europe. CDF cooperates with other associations and umbrella organizations for donors within the European Foundation Centre (EFC) in Brussels.

We regularly process information on development trends in philanthropy in the Czech Republic for foreign subjects. Last year we focused on situations in the foundation community, we processed and presented a report based on the results from the opinion poll questioning trust of the Czech public in foundation subjects.

In terms of cooperation in regions of Central and Eastern Europe CDF cooperates with other partnership organizations that are organizations of similar type as well as other expert centres. In 2005 we prepared a project called CEENERGI - Central and Eastern European Network for Responsible Giving. CEENERGI is developing company donations in 8 countries of Central and Eastern Europe and besides the Czech Republic there is Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine. CDF is a regional centre for CEENERGI.

CDF is an exclusive partner of international network London Benchmarking Group - Standard for Responsible Company (representation for The Czech Republic and Slovakia). In 2005 CDF started the implementation of this methodology with Slovak BLF and Foundation Pontis in Slovakia.
